Actually, we'd very likely have to get permission from Shout! to do it if we want it to be legal. That part's doable; I've contacted companies for permission to show anime for university events, but I don't know how that would work for over the internet.

lol Yeah I had noticed you hadn't been on in a while, but everything's pretty much the same, dude. Well, some of the users have become gruesomely mutated and there's a banner of the month thing sorta' going on (the one used now was made by NeonBlack) but things are fine and spiffy.

With that said, I greet you with my squid hand as I wave and say, "Welcome back, bro!"

This. The only forum part that's died out is the rp section, maybe general fan content as well. The rest us largely the same

Heh, yeah, the RP forum's been pretty dead for a while now. I feel kind of bad for the few people who want to RP. Not really sure if there's anything we can do to bring some life back to it, or if we should just leave it alone, though.

Although it died before I joined, Im guessing at least part of it is because there is nobody to DM and therefore offer a story? (its not a sneer - I tried DMing once before, and can see the initial trouble that it can be) That plus getting started. Once your started, RPs can usually see to themselves

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh. Understood. Sorry, I'm not up on all the Role Playing stuff. It's interesting. I'm not going to participate, because it's just not my thing. But learning about it is kinda cool.

Yeah, I prefer real-life table-top gaming myself, where there are clear-cut rules and character types and a defined story and such. And really only with one of a few of my friends as DM. I guess I just got used to their style and don't like playing under anyone else.

Here, all I do is read the RP threads to make sure there's no issues that come up or inappropriate content or anything like that (there never have been yet, though). Most of them seemed to just fizzle out as people stop posting for whatever reason.

Its ok, its not for everybody. The first game is always your hardest anyway - mainly because its getting round the whole imagining a situation and what would you do in it
