    Popping in and Out

Postby Rave on August 16th, 2015, 3:11 pm

    Hey everyone,

    Old forum user here.

It's honestly hard to believe I've not been here for years and was around when the forum was barely coming up into fruition. Time flies.

In anycase, I'm popping in out of old and new forums I've been a part of and keep pushing towards improvement in my life past college.

I've been trying to find work and get into graduate/medical school for a while.

I got my education in kinesiology/psychology, in hopes to get into education, but things didn't pan out, so I'm going back to school for math and science for my masters instead of experimental psychology or philosophy.

I'm not sure if anyone here recognizes me, but I hope y'all are all doing well and ok. Been in and out of a crazy set of loops over the years and keep trying to cut and go past them.

    So how is everyone?

Also, aside from being an independent rogue academic, I've been a musician for a while.

I've mostly been busy working on writing a record and putting it out for a while. I've been on a project since 2012 and was hoping to put it out by 13, but my plans went down.

So hopefully when I'm done writing and scoring the materials again, I'll put out a small EP before the big LP drops. Really can't wait to cut and put that on vinyl and listen to it.

It'll be a really well done conceptual record that's yet to have come and been done before.

I'm basically seeing if I can work with people all around and maybe network and all that. So, we'll see how it goes.

I was here like, years ago, so chances are, I'm most likely not going to remember many people who either still come here or not. A lot of us have kind of up, gone and left somewhat.

I remember your posts; I used to be AshLoomis but went insane, got better, and then returned as Lynchenberg. :P

"Insane." What do you mean by that? Did you mean to say you had a mental breakdown, or you were just doing different things, expecting a different result?

Insane is an exaggeration for humorous effect. I wouldn't say I completely lost it, but I was having personal issues I needed to recover from before I could come back to the board.

Welcome back to the forums Rave. I'm Manic Man (named after Manic from Sonic Underground). I'm also into academics. My main area of study is Environment Resources Engineering, but I'm also knowledgeable in Mathematics, Chemistry, Philosophy, Social Issues, and Environmental Ethics. I'm unfortunately not very knowledgeable in Psychology. I only took one Psychology class, and that was for general ed. I plan on replying to the topic you posted in the Library forum, but I need time to give a good response.

    Nice to meet you!
