The Robotropolis Regulars

[DrinkyHedgehog]

CONCEPT: There are some jobs that a robot just can't do. Here we focus on the staff of animals in Robotnik's employ who work to try and make Robotropolis a better place, but are thwarted at every turn by Sonic and the Freedon Fighter's constantly blowing up sections of the city, causing the power to go out, and generally making their lives miserable as they work hard just to get by.

CHARACTERS:

Drinky the Hedgehog- A data clerk for Robotnik who works in his citadel. Alcoholic, constantly haunted by his ex, Xanax the Cat. He's behind in child support for their daughter, Valium the Hedgecat. The closest thing to a friend that Robotnik has. Drinky actually likes his boss, but he loves drinking even more.

Xanax the Cat: Drinky's ex and mother to his daughter. Very intelligent, but with a sharp tongue and quick wit. She works as Robotnik's personal tailor.

Snively: Robotnik's nephew, and one of Drinky's drinkin' buddies.

"The Boys": A group of 5 Swat-bots reprogrammed for bar hopping and conversation. They usually accompany Drinky when he's off-the-clock

Robotnik: Supreme dictator of Mobius. Not a bad guy to work for either.

A somewhat short brown hedgehog in a black cashmere coat sits at a dingy desk in an office adjacent to Robotnik's throne room, reviewing work orders and qotas from several of Robotnik's more gerographically diverse projects. Offhandedly he reaches into the drawer of his desk and pulls out one of the several bottles of brown Mobian liquor stored in there, pours some into the glass on his desk and takes a swig directly form the bottle before replacing it. He suspected that one of the crazy resistance groups near the city was probably planning something that would probably cause the power to go out agian sometime that day, as often hapened, and wished his boss didn't rely on the clearly incompetent robots to monitor the world-wide all encompassing surveilance system that the fat man had put in place.

"I hate it when they make a mess of things" he muttered to himself, lighting a cigarette. "It's so dark in this city when the power goes out. Terrorists are so inconsiderate."

He opened the drawer again to look at the bottle, which was how he measured how much work he was getting done on any given day. He had gotten slightly over halfway through it, but his shift wasn't half over yet. Not that it mattered, the boss let him come and go as he pleased, mostly keeping him around for company. He had backup bottles anyways.

He is Drinky the Hedgehog, and he had a bad feeling his day wasn't going to go as nicely as he hoped.

Leo walked up to Drinky and tipped his hat before speaking. "Evening Jack, (Jack is a referance to Jack Daniels. Alcohol joke. ) How are things? Seems the Renegades have struck again." Leo said smiling.
