Original Title Theme??

Okay so I was looking around on the web and I came across another version of 'The Fastest Thing Alive' theme song. I noticed that the singer was different, there was different music and it had a lot more sound effects than the version we all know. I was just wondering if anybody here knew more information about it such as who sung it and so on.

It sounds like a demo of the theme song that made it to air, so it might be Michael Tavera doing temp vocals on it?

To me it sounds like another take by the same singer. It happens a lot in recording, especially when it come to things like theme songs and jingles.

I'm not really sure about the singer, it could be Tavera, but all I can gather is that he sounds very similar to the guy who sung 'Burning Way Past Cool'.

Also, it has all the missing sound effects in the intro. Including Robotnik's growl of frustration towards the end.

Hey, that was a way past cool awesome theme song! It really made my morning as a nineties kid! My question is who wrote that song and who sang it which is very important to the t.v. Series franchise? The best part was Sally giving Sonic the power ring and it shined like the rising sun. Then Sonic and Sally escaped the flooding robot factory with pride and ended with a kiss, what a great intro!
