I just wanted to show you a project I've been working on recently, a paperchildren project in fact, and SatAM related too!
So, this was for a competition over at The Sonic Stadium http://www.sonicstadium.org/ to re-create a Sonic scene using only photography.
I only had one shot at this, so picking a worthy scene was in order.
After mulling over a few ideas, I chose SatAM Sonic's opening title scene, just before the Sonic logo appears. Here, all the Knothole residents are celebrating another victory over Robotnik. I love how they jump, dance and cheer, and was a really heartwarming scene to pick (I also love how Tails balances on his actual tails!)
I'm a retro-softie at heart, so re-watching this series brings back a lot of happy memories for me!
The shoot took about an hour to set up and photograph. As with all paperchildren outdoors, the tiniest amount of wind ends in paperchild FACEONFLOOR.
Shot on location at my local park (stooping so low to photograph these guys ended with sore knees and a sore back lol, but tripod, I love you)
Paperchildren as always using Copic liners and Ciao markers on Bristol Board 400 series.
The woodpecker guy and a few others relied on tabs made with a stronger substance than card, clear Lexan plastic, to keep them upright.

. that is amazing

Wow that was awesome! You put so much detail and effort into it! Usually that scene is viewed with a dolly pan shot or whatever it's called, but u took each frame from it and stretched it to where it looks like one shot.
Btw Donnamevans i LOVE your Sally sig! It's so cute and colorful, plus i like how u used NICOLE as the centerpiece for the banner
