And I bet Lovecraft would make that pet Cluck into a mini version of Cthulhu and, instead of throwing him out in a later season, make him eat some of the freedom fighters.

Or he'd probably make that mud-lookin' creature thing from that one episode into Cthulhu. That'd make more sense, but I'll admit it wouldn't be as cool as the other approach.

As for what Eli Roth would do, well I can think of him doing something with the margarine scene, and man it'd be completely disturbing and darkly hilarious.

Nicole would probably find information about some hidden text of ancient knowledge within the runes of an abandoned church or something. Sonic and Sally would go off to find it and disappear for months. When they got back, Sally would act strangely out of character, creeping everyone out, while Sonic would be reduced to a babbling wreck. He'd lock himself in his room and refuse to come out for anything. Sally would spend her time making strange chants translating the old work. Tails would get suspicious and spy on her, until he realized that it's not actually Aunt Sally, she's been possessed by some horrible outer space entity that walked this earth long before the dawn of Mobians. He's go off to tell Sonic that, "that's not Sally" but he'd find Sonic in his room, half transformed into a slithering, tentacle-covered wreck of a man, er, hedgehog, that's so horrible, I can't even describe it. "Kuh--kill me...kill me..." he'd whisper to the young fox. Tails would scream and run down the stairs to get Bunnie, but by the time he arrived, his mind was shattered completely. Bunnie would tell Antoine to lock Tails up in a padded cell, while she went to investigate. Upon arriving upstairs, Sonic would grab her as he screamed "please kill me...kill me..." spreading the infection to her. But instead of turning into a pussy wreck, Bunnie would turn into a really cool Giger painted version of herself, and go on a rampage through Knothole before being brought under control by the spells of "Sally" who is now calling her UjDJLKdsflkjhfhf. UjDJLKdsflkjhfhf would send Bunnie to Robotropolis, to bring down Robotnik in order to make the world ready for the upcoming rule of the creatures she calls "the Great Old Ones." Bunnie would only manage to transform Cluck into a mini-version of Cthulhu, Robotnik would shoot himself in the head before the infection could spread to him. Meanwhile, Rotor and Antoine would tie up UjDJLKdsflkjhfhf and leave her in another padded cell, while then embarked to Robotropolis to capture Bunnie and hopefully find a way to cure her. Things didn't go quite as planned though, as Snively has already assumed power and captured Bunnie, roboticizing her all the way, making her an even cooler looking Giger painting, that's now on his side. Bunnie would then capture Antoine and Rotor, and lock them in the basement. After going all Hostel on Rotor, Snivley would then reinact the torture scene from Reservoir Dogs on Antoine, only this time using margarine, with Rotor revealing he's not dead at the end, and shooting Snivley to death before he has the chance to burn a French delicacy in the oven. The End.
