Uh, Andy, that was a prototype, it never was fully created......

There are lots of incomplete prototypes and beta versions of games out on the web.

Hmm, I remember Starfox 2 on the SNES. I can't remember if that game ever made it out of Beta stage in Japan, but it was a playable ROM.

It would have been nice to try this game out even a little bit... like Sonic Crackers.

I desparately want to play this even if it's only 1 level. There's got to be at least one ROM file of this somewhere.

My point exactly - there are loads of partially playable prototypes and Beta versions out there. Sonic Crackers is a good comparison.

The game itself doesn't look all that great, but it's always cool to see Sally in a Sega game! :)

I remember first seeing this video some time ago....I was so excited to see a possible game made of the SatAM franchise, if only it had came to be. Is there any hope left of a SatAM-based game to come? No, prolly not...but one can dream, cant' he/she?

to bad this wasnt made. you know sega could have it as a special game if they made a compilation of old sonic games but i seriously dout they would do that.

 I see everybody saying how the game was slow, the title looked bland and all that. We gotta remember that was a sneek peek of a prototype. Which means that maybe it looked like that b 4 but it probably would've looked awesome once the final touches were done. :happy:I bet it would've made gr8 sales!

what they should have done was have slow levels like that but have high speed levels also where if you get a ring you get to go faster

Seriously Funny wrote:Not sure if this has been brought up yet, but I'll give it a shot. In an interview SEGA-16 held with Peter Morawiec (a former designer of SEGA Technical Institute), he shares a small video of a Sonic game prototype that was based on SatAM! Check it out for yourself:

    http://www.sega-16.com/feature_page.php ... 20Morawiec

Scroll to the bottom, and click on the Sonic link to download the video.

This seems pretty cool, although the title screen wasn't very impressive, and it seemed a little slow for a Sonic game. But still, I would love to play an official game based on Sonic SatAM!

    Discuss!

    Awesome!
