I just checked out this site and looked at the blog section. I was pretty happy, except for the little picture of the chick wearing combat gear and holding her weapon with her finger on the trigger. I about had a brain aneurism I was so pissed. Classic case of movie makers not having a decent military consultant. That's like firearms 101, not to mention that the idea of a female combatant isn't exactly too good either... but I digress, that's just my inner-Marine freaking out over s*** that the rest of population shouldn't give a s*** less about.

keep in mind, it's also based on the games. It's bound to turn out somewhat cartoony or exagerrated.
At least with satam, they explained sonic keeping his rings in his backpack. (Where does the game sonic put all his rings, anyway? Is there a special ring zone?)

and female combatants are just as capable as male I'll have you know.

I found it to be a pleasant short film, a little unpolished but charming. Hearing Jaleel back as Sonic is ace.
