M.I.D. CASE STORIES #1: "MOBIUS CHILI WAGON"

STORY: The Mobius Investigation Department (M.I.D) just got a tip on a crime scene at the eatery The Mobius Chili Wagon. The best place to go for all your sloppy, high calorie, full-tummy goodness. The head of M.I.D. is Ms. Jessie Ringtail, a raccoon who takes her job seriously but her social life lightly. She is taking her best men and women out to investigate what has happened and they must do what they can to complete and close this case.

I'll start 1st!

"Your attention please!" The loudspeaker blared throughout the MID Headquarters. "All MID investigators please report to Conference Room, thank you!" Within a few seconds over 25 employees walked through the halls of MID heading towards the Conference room, which was down a long hallway and just to the left. As they entered the room, a female raccoon with a short and navy blue V-neck dress sat at the back of the room, patiently looking through some files at a desk. Her name was Jessie Ringtail and she was the CEO of M.I.D. She looked up and saw the employees enter.

"Welcome everyone," said Jessie Ringtail in a welcoming but stern tone, "please have a seat and I will begin shortly." she stood up and cradled the file folders in her arms and walked away from the desk and headed towards the conference table. She placed the folders down on the table as the last few employees sat in their seats.

"Eight cases..." Jessie began, "Eight cases that contain reports of theft and assault. And do you know what the timeline is on these cases?" she opened up one folder and read its contents. "Let's see...March 3rd, 10:45 p.m...". She put down that folder and picked up each folder and read it one by one. "March 5th, 10:45 p.m...March 9th, 10:45 p.m..." Her voice grew frustrated and disappointed. "And March 13st, 10:45 p.m." she slowly placed the last folder down. "Now, if you ask me, these all took place in the same month, the exact same time and at the same location...The Mobius Chili Wagon. Reports stated that an estimated $120 cash and coins were taken from the restaurant, along with over 40 pounds of chili, hotdogs, buns...and olives. It stated the suspect also assaulted the cooks.

We have a pattern here, so we need a special team of 6 to go out to the target location and do more further work. See if there's any leads, new evidence, update interviews. So...who will be on the team?"

"I'll join the case!" Bernard the bear gruffly said. His voice sounded like Michael Duncan from The Green Mile. "Great, anyone else?" Jessie asked. "Me too," Anisa said in her apparent spanish dialect. "I love some butt kicking acción!"

Jessie looked around the room. "well, i need 4 more. Whose it gonna be?"

Anisa noticed Tails looking around thru the window. "Hey, whose the chico?"
Jessie turned around and saw Tails. "Hmm," she pondered, "curious, looks determined...two tails? Hey i heard of this kid!" she opened up the window and Tails got startled. "Excuse me small fry. I don't mean to scare you, but are you Tails, from the Knothole Freedom Fighters?"
