Hey!! Who wants a Christmas card? (and maybe a present too!)

Hello all,

With Christmas fast approaching again, I wanted to do something a bit special to show my appreciation for the greatest little gathering of Sonic fans on the internets. So, if you'd like to have a card, just PM me with a postal address I can send one to!

Also! I'd like to blow a bit of money on a present for someone by holding a raffle! The only problem is, I have no idea what to buy for it. Perhaps something Sonic related, or perhaps not, I suppose I'm not sure.

So instead of racking my brains over this, I thought I'd put the question to you. If you have any suggestions for a prize, please say your piece now in this thread!!!

EDIT: The prizes are: A game of your choice that can be ordered off Amazon, and a randomly chosen Sonic plushie. Pics coming sooooon-ish

With all that, here's a few points of note:

• If you'd like a card, send me a PM with a postal address to send it to.
• Everyone who PMs, gets a card!
• Everyone who gets a card, is also in the raffle!
• I'm willing to spend up to $200AU on a prize. Suggestions that are valued at lower amounts are fine, but no more please if you can help it.
• I absolutely WILL NOT, under ANY circumstances, share your postal address with ANYONE. No exceptions to this.
• The prize will be announced some time before the draw. The draw itself will be on December 10th, and will be up for all to see via YouTube. All requests for cards should be in by December 10, too, so I can hopefully get them all out by Christmas or at least not long after.
• Joke suggestions for prizes are fine too! But won't be considered.

As far as suggestions for the present, try Ebay or Amazon. They have alot of sonic plushies and action figures. And according to an online currency converter i went to, 200AU is about $197 in US money. Only a few bucks difference right?

Regardless if you believe in God or not, He will bless you for doing something this amazing and thoughtful.

You live in Australia right? What kinda sonic stuff do you have there? I know they have don't have alot of sonic stuff everywhere. I would just be happy with a sonic doll or t-shirt. no need for you to go broke.

man i wish i should enter but erm....I'm not allowed to give me address to strangers (seems like the only way i can do this stuff if its a online post question kinda contest) (aka a contest where the user has to answer a question correctly wins)

a sonic game!

like sonic unleashed etc (but make sure its for xbox 360,wii,ps3 etc so people do not have to go and buy a new wii etc to play it).

And as for suggestions, well, I suppose the Sat AM DVD set for those of us who don't have one, yet.

And, other things....well, personally, I'd love to have some kind of traditional Australian candy that they got over there, (that would actually make it through customs, that is). That would be a perfect gift for me that also wouldn't be too costly.

I'm still thinking about prizes, I was reluctant on the idea of games or apparel just because sizes and systems will vary from person to person, though it's also no problem to find out post-draw and just order them straight off Amazon. So those kinds of ideas are still in.

So.....a caramel Cadbury's Koala? lol, I think I've seen those in the States, actually. Naw, what I was talking about was some kind of traditional candy from there that can only be found in Australia, and that perhaps is locally made, which would be even better, but would have to be in some kind of packaging, or it won't make it out of the country.

And..... are those Honey Ants? Hahaha..... lol I bet customs would have a Field Day with that package. Is that some kind of delicacy over there?



Actually, I had thought of a present idea even Better than candy. I'm wondering, are there Aborigine (I hope I spelled that right ) people around where you live? And if so, do they sell stuff? These people have been around there for thousands of years, and I love traditional stuff, so I thought an excellent present also for folks who like that sort of thing would be some kind of traditional bracelet or necklace. Or perhaps some kind of musical or percussion instrument (small of course) like for example, some kind of noisemaker, or flute, etc. Things like that.

My suggestion for a prize is one of those rare Sonic or Tails stuffed animals that occasionally comes up in carnivals as prizes. It's an Satam forum, after all. Or how about the entire set of those vinyl figurines?

I don't know if a game would be the best gift since we all live in different parts of the world and it might not work with our systems. Region lockout sucks.
