Deep in The Great Forest, there is a village called Knothole. It is not a place of remote mountains or surging rivers, but a land of grassy hills and bubbling brooks. If one arrives there late, it usually maintains the calmness of a summer night. On one particular evening, the full moon shone from Knothole’s eastern horizon. It lit a fertile field of crops, behind which lay a water wheel. A chipmunk named Sally watched the moon light flicker upon the running water. She was seated upon a well-furnished chair, fashioned from tree stumps. Sally sat comfortably as the water wheel churned before her, as the skilled hands of Sally’s young friend Tails built the seat. As torrents of water flowed down to the river, Sally grew bored. She began idly playing on her handheld computer, NICOLE. Although it was Sally’s turn to monitor the generator, it rarely required maintenance. Rotor was more than capable of taking care of it if problems arose. Sally began watching a cheesy horror film on her computer, when footfalls sounded behind her. She turned to see a familiar blue hedgehog. “Oh great,” grumbled Sally. “It’s you again.”
Ask not what Ken Penders can do for you, but what you can do for Ken Penders.
