There's not a lot of SatAM-related talk online as of late, but this was a blip on the radar. I figured I might as well share it. I'll just copy and paste what I commented to give my take on the video. What did you think?

SatAM was unfairly brushed over. It's a great show; very much a 1990s Saturday Morning adventure, but done far better than its competitors. I'm also surprised most of this video was just reacting to the Sonic Underground opening credits. Not even Sonic X really got any talk, and that's the most recognizable version to a modern audience.

Yeah what I think happened was the whole move from ABC to USA...who back then as a kid knew what USA was but a State you lived in? the ABC audience was probably confused what happened and assumed that Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog was what the were looking for at first than realized...wait,what am I watching?

Sonic SatAM never got the respect it deserved. Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog got a lot more exposure, and while I enjoyed the cartoon back in the day when I was five years old in 1993 (now 28), it hasn't aged well.

There are still episodes posted onto Youtube and that is the only way people new to the show are ever going to see it. The copyright freaks probably haven't taken them down yet because SatAm is literally off the air in basically all areas of the United States, and probably even Canada and the United Kingdom.

USA Network cut one - two minutes from each episode and added in voiceover advertising during the credits. SatAm had a brief run on the cable station and then it was pulled. That was probably the last time the cartoon was showed to a mass audience.

That's probably why theres little to no SatAm related talk. People have moved on, and today's generation simply doesn't know it exists.

That's nice, but I don't care for television anymore. Gave up on it years ago after I found out the cable companies and satellite companies get into disputes with the content providers, whom often stir up the pot because they're not gaining enough profits.

Haven't watched the SatAM DVD set in a decade. I should go and watch it again someday, but it's at my old house.

I put up a short SatAM-specific fanfic the other week, and I got one comment from someone expressing disbelief that there are still people writing SatAM stories. I think people really have moved on.

SatAM was a brilliant cartoon and to see it get a wider cult status would be great, but then, hasn't Sonic as a whole had his day?
