The Lost Hedgehog Tales and Archie Sonic Restoration fates

So, last I heard, there's only been 1 chapter of the Lost Hedgehog Tales from Flynn, and despite saying they'd have the comics released weekly (from what I read), the Archie Sonic Restoration project only has 1 of the missing reboot comics finished. This concerns me in the same way that the Swat Kats Revolution project being on indefinite hiatus concerns me: not because I'm particularly excited to see them back, but because it seems like executive meddling and other legal factors are keeping such things from progressing further, and for fans, they might end up becoming vaporware. This seems especially true, now that IDW Sonic is a thing, but even with that, I fear it's on shaky ground, copyright-wise, since it's been facing a long string of delays to its comics (it's still being produced, but the main comic keeps on having issues bumped down later than they should, or being bumped up before being shoved back down, again, like issue 20). Makes me wonder if, despite fan hunger for it, interest in Sonic as a comic is dying, at least for the higher-ups, and it's starting to not be considered lucrative enough to continue. With the polarizing opinions given about Sonic Forces and Team Sonic Racing, this might prove true, I dunno. What are your thoughts on this?
